Season synopsis

The fourth season of Taskmaster NZ, consisting of 10 episodes, began airing on a schedule of two episodes a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) on the 14th of August 2023.

The cast for the season are Dai Henwood, Melanie Bracewell, Ray O’Leary, Sieni Leo’o Olo (aka Bubbah), and Karen O’Leary.

The studio recording sessions took place between the 31st of May 2023 and the 4th of June 2023.

Notes

On the 5th of December 2022, it was announced that NZ On Air (a government agency which provides funding for public media) would be providing funding for a fourth season of Taskmaster NZ, to air in 2023.
The same day, chief task writer Sam Smith confirmed that he had already begun writing tasks for the season.
On the 27th of May 2023, the cast for the season was announced as Dai Henwood, Melanie Bracewell, Ray O’Leary, Sieni Leo’o Olo (aka Bubbah), and Karen O’Leary.
On the 1st of August 2023, it was announced that the season would begin airing on the 14th of August 2023, and would go out on a schedule of two episodes per week, on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
