Season 2

Season synopsis

A second season of Taskmaster PT, consisting of 8 episodes, began airing on the 18th of March 2023.

The fixed contestants on the panel are the same as for the first season: Jéssica Athayde (actor), Inês Aires Pereira (actor), Gilmário Vemba (comedian), and Toy (musician, actor).

The identities of the guest contestants were only disclosed in the week prior to each episode airing, and include: the football commentator Cândido Costa; the actor and singer Gabriela Barros; the actor Diogo Valsassina; the singer-songwriter Marisa Liz; the actor and composer Rui Melo; the comedian Salvador Martinha; the presenter Tânia Ribas de Oliveira; and the actor and presenter Teresa Guilherme.

Filming of the live studio segments began on the 11th of October 2022.

Notes

• On the 7th of July 2022, it was reported that a second season of Taskmaster Portugal consisting of 10 episodes had been commissioned, with production expected to begin in late August or early September 2022. It was also revealed that the fixed contestants on the panel for the season would be the same as for the first season, with only the guest contestants being switched out.
• In mid-September 2022, Nuno began posting photos and videos on his Instagram account of himself on site at the production of the pre-filmed tasks.
• On the 11th of October 2022, both Vasco and Nuno posted a photo of themselves, confirming that filming had started on the live studio sessions for the season.
• On the 6th of February 2023, Nuno disclosed in an Instagram post that season 2 of the show would begin airing in March and that they would, around that time, also begin production of a third season.
• It was then disclosed via an RTP webpage aimed at potential advertisers that the season would actually consist of just eight episodes, and would begin airing on the 18th of March 2023.
• On the 11th of March 2023, a teaser trailer for the season was released on Nuno Markl's Instagram.
• On the 13th of March 2023, it was publicly confirmed via the official Taskmaster PT Instagram that the season would begin airing on the 18th of March, and that the guest contestant in the first episode would be the football commentator Cândido Costa. A teaser trailer for the first episode was also shared by Nuno Markl on the 13th of March 2023.
• On the 21st of March 2023, it was revealed that the guest contestant for episode 2 would be the actor and singer Gabriela Barros, and a teaser trailer for the episode was also released.
• On the 28th of March 2023, the guest contestant for episode 3 was revealed as Rui Melo, and a trailer for the episode was released.
• On the 4th of April 2023, the guest contestant for episode 4 was revealed as Marisa Liz, and a trailer for the episode was released.
• On the 11th of April 2023, the guest contestant for episode 5 was revealed as Salvador Martinha. On the 12th of April 2023, a trailer for the episode was released.
• On the 18th of April 2023, the guest contestant for episode 6 was revealed as Tânia Ribas, and a trailer for the episode was released.
• On the 25th of April 2023, the guest contestant for episode 7 was revealed as Diogo Valsassina, and a trailer for the episode was released.
• On the 3rd of May 2023, the guest contestant for episode 8 was revealed as Teresa Guilherme. A trailer for the episode was then released on the 4th of May 2023.
