The task brief is attached to the flagpole near the caravan. The brief for the task is as follows:
Go into the house.
Once in the house, you must shout ‘Honey, I’m home!’ to stop the clock.
Fastest into the house wins.
You have 30 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- A dozen wrapped presents have been scattered on the ground near the flagpole, along with a garden rake, a football, and an archery bow.
- The contestants – who have been blindfolded while the task was set up – are chained to the flagpole.
- The biggest present – which is also the furthest away from them – has a metal plate on it which, if the contestants find the magnet in one of the other presents, allows it to be easily dragged closer. Inside this present, there is a tent that looks like a house, providing one possible solution to the task.
- Most of the other presents contain things which are entirely useless in achieving the objective of the task.
- The word ’nyckelstång’ (‘key pole’) is written on the back of the flagpole, hinting that the key to the padlock holding the chains is at the top of the flagpole.
